"Beyond is the infinite and the immortal.
With Thy touch, our soul is freed.
With Thy breath, our will is preserved.
With Thy caress, our form becomes eternal.
Within Thy embrace, our self is immortal."
— Blessing of Saru, Saturni’s History of Ashriya

Kammatt is the god of Unlife and Rebirth. Primarily worshiped by Lyches, Vampyre, and Ghouls alike, his faithful also includes the Living, usually necromancers. Most followers of Kammatt espouse that He is responsible for the creation of Undead. Some non-worshippers have often pointed out that the Raising of Undead can be performed without invoking rites to Kammatt, but His followers believe that He is the one who either creates, or otherwise prepares, the Spirits of the newly arisen. Many Undead believe that Kammatt is the source of their eternal life, and Living necromancers believe that Kammatt will grant His most loyal followers eternal life after death.

Some of those that worship Kammatt believe that the Undead are the salvation of all of the inhabitants of Ashriya, citing how the Undead have proven to be a tireless aid to the rest of civilization, especially in times of extreme hardship for the Living, such as the Turning and the Breaking. However, there are doubters who say Kammatt had nothing to do with that, and that any such boon was a racial secular boon, not religious.

Some followers of Kammatt believe that the Undead are not only bringers of salvation, they are the rightful rulers of Ashriya; that the Living would have perished long ago without them, proving once and for all the superiority of the Undead. This extreme branch of worship is usually only espoused by the Tainted undead, who see the Living as little more than cattle for slaughter.

There are some worshipers of Kammatt who believe that all souls of the Living and Undead are born of Avanti, and it is not until mortals attempt to Raise an Undead that a spirit departs from Her and is embraced by Kammatt. The Order of the Cycle is a sect of Avanti, Death, and Kammatt worshipers that embrace this ideology, believing all three gods harmoniously play a role in every person's existence.

There are subsects of worshipers who also give praise to the Children of Kammatt. Saru, Daughter of Kammatt, is known as a benevolent, compassionate Being, and is widely regarded as the patron of Untainted Undead. The Darkest Star, an order based out of the Necropolis, is one such subsect. Others give praise to Mokol, Son of Kammatt, known as a ruthless and evil individual, viewing him as a patron of the Tainted Undead. Though Mokol was slain centuries ago, there are some who still call His name, such as the cult The Children of Mokol, founded in the Necropolis but has since been banished from the city due to the taboo nature of their worship.

The Tower of Thekehm is a grand, storied series of Temples that towers at the edge of the Necropolis. It is the second largest building in the Necropolis. It also serves as the undead’s resurrection point in the city.

Kammatt’s Sanctum is a temple located somewhere in the forest south of Jast. Despite having been consumed by the forest, devotees of Kammatt have been able to find their way to the temple, claiming to have been given guidance and protection by Kammatt.

Kammatt’s colors are black and green. His symbol is an ouroboros.
