“To be able to follow a recipe one-thousand times with absolute precision, some would call them a master crafter. To attempt yet fail to follow a recipe one-thousand times, some would call them a miserable crafter. Some would say that the master crafter is embodying the spirit of Meserias! But, how much did they truly learn? They have made but one thing!”
- Meser Redazi

Artifice, Invention, and Progress - these are the core beliefs of Meserias. Worshipers believe that to live by the principles of creation, understanding, and improvement, is to live by the diligent spirit of Meserias. As such, many followers believe that all crafters honor Meserias, whether intentionally or otherwise. This is not to say that all crafters are worshipers of Meserias, or that all worshipers of Meserias are crafters. While it is true that most worshipers of Meserias do have some amount of crafting experience, the followers take to embodying the ideals of their deity in many ways.

Worshipers believe that those who help the advancement of society, or mortals as a whole, are fulfilling the will of Meserias. Many explorers of ruins, cartographers, and scholars alike give praise to Meserias, believing that the research and cataloging of our history and world is paramount to the improvement of society. Similarly, they believe that any person who would try and hide significant truths of historical events are doing a disservice to society, and therefore are offensive to Meserias.

Many followers of Meserias tend to have an optimistic, or even positive outlook when they are met with failure or disappointment. They believe making mistakes is the key to growth. While it may be upsetting to not achieve the result you wanted or expected, you now know better for the next time. To learn, to grow, to progress; that is what it means to worship Meserias.

Shrines to Meserias are often functional workshops, smithees or laboratories with simply a symbol of the god to show the devoutness of the workers within. Worshipers will often leave something that they have made at shrines they encounter; a potion they brewed, a map they have drawn, a poem they have written.

As all intelligent beings will continue to build and progress in some fashion, Meserias will never truly be powerless. However, many followers tend to focus more on creating than proselytizing. The highest ranking worshiper of Meserias is called the Mezer.

The largest concentration of Meserias worshipers in Ashriya can probably be found in the nation of Rodbar. In the western district of Rodbar City, there is a massive shrine to Meserias, which is frequently covered in offerings of designs, components, as well as crafted inventions. On the Isle of Mull exists the Greatforge, where followers of Meserias and Craigor alike fashion arms and weapons for the Army of Mull.

Meserias is not associated with any particular color. Meseria’s symbol is an anvil, often embellished with a gear.
