“All are born with a tendency to do Good and a tendency to do Evil. Those who serve the path of Good will be rewarded in their hearts and souls. Those who serve the path of Evil must be brought to salvation or brought to an end.”
- Tenets of Liandra

Liandra is known as the Goddess of Good and Selflessness. Liandra's followers will do all that they can to protect other people, and to make sure that those who would do harm to others fail in their attempt. While others often see Liandra as representing the Good of the world, her followers are often more concerned with showing others the path to improving both themselves and the world.

Followers of Liandra seek the betterment of others around them, and the building of society and community. They strive to make the world a better place, guided by the belief that peace and prosperity can be obtained with hard work, patience, and sacrifice. Liandra’s faithful teach that giving of yourself to aid others is the greatest gift one can give, and ask Her followers to have the courage to do right by the world and its inhabitants, even if that means surrendering their own comfort or safety.

Liandra worshipers denounce those who would bring harm upon others. Many followers believe that to truly embody Liandra one must stand against Evil and bring it to an end. Most would agree that, above all else, she espouses empathy and redemption. Many Liandra worshipers prefer to forgive transgressions than react to them, for it is better to forgive their offenses and show them the path to generosity and compassion than to hold grudges against them.

Nearly all worshipers of Liandra partake in some form of charity or another. For some, this means donating money or food to those who need it. For others, this takes on the form of protecting those who are unable to protect themselves. More devout followers have been known to live well beneath their means, and embrace a humble way of life, so that they may offer as much as they can to those who truly need it. Many followers of Liandra believe this to be too much, and that the true purpose of Selflessness is to help others, not needlessly cause harm to yourself.

Throughout history, whenever any have approached Her most faithful to adopt a title of honor, they have declined, showing an excess of humility. Thus, there is no structure or organized Liandra hierarchy, though there are common sects or forms of worship.

The Hand of Liandra is a widespread sect of worshipers who make it their mission to provide aid to those in need. They largely focus on providing relief for cities and nations that have fallen upon hard times. Based out of the Necropolis, representatives of the Hand of Liandra can be found in major cities across Ashriya, seeking donations.

The Path of the Truest Light is a form of worship which maintains that any who do not choose to be Good is actively choosing to embrace Evil, whether through action or inaction. They believe that those with the means to do Good have a moral obligation to do Good, and a failure to do so demands correction. Those who follow the Path of the Truest Light dedicate themselves to eradicating Evil wherever it may reside. There are not many temples dedicated to this path, as most who follow it do not stay in one place, instead seeking out new opportunities to do the most Good. Those who have dedicated themselves to this cause call themselves the Knights of the Truest Light.

Liandra’s colors are white and fuschia. Her symbol is a teardrop, though some worshipers invert the tear drop symbol so it appears as a sunburst.
